I had a wonderful stay at this charming guest house nestled in the heart of a historic center. The beautifully restored old house exuded a cozy and quaint atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home.
While the lack of parking for a car was a downside, it was not the fault of the guest house. However, it's important to note that guests should be cautious about parking in the area.

The location was perfect for exploring the medieval town and we had a blast trying out horse riding and hiking. The room was comfy and the staff were super friendly. Plus, the fast wifi was perfect for sharing all our awesome adventures on social media!
The only thing we wished for was a more happening nightlife scene. It would have been even more epic if there were some cool bars or clubs nearby where we could have continued the party after our daytime adventures.

The rooms at La Hoja De Roble have stunning views of the mountains and river. It's the perfect place to wake up and feel closer to nature. As a nature-loving backpacker, this was a dream come true!
Personally, I could have done without the air conditioning and hot tub in the double room. As a backpacker, I prefer to immerse myself in the local experience rather than seeking luxury amenities.

The room was beautifully decorated and had a nice big bathroom. the bed was comfortable, with clean white cotton sheets and a pretty view onto the street. the staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easily available on the main street. the location was great, right in the center of the charming medieval town and close to all the attractions.
The check-in process was confusing and stressful. There was no reception, and we had to check in online and use a keypad to enter the hotel and our room.

We had a wonderful time exploring the beautiful surroundings of Puebla de Sanabria during our stay at La Hoja De Roble. The activities like horse riding and hiking were perfect for our family. Our little ones had a blast and were constantly entertained.
In my wife's opinion, it would have been great to have more children-friendly amenities available for families.

The bed was beyond comfy, the sheets and towels were top-notch, and we even had a cozy robe and slippers to use. The bathroom was stunning, with an amazing shower head. Although we missed the castle, I can only imagine the breathtaking sunset view. The hotel is perfectly situated in a beautifully restored historic building. Margherita was so kind and let us choose our room with an incredible view of the river. The pillows and towels were the absolute best of our whole trip. The room was immaculately clean and had plenty of windows to let in fresh air. Easy parking on the street. a mind-blowing experience!
